The Other Side of the World
Here, I really wanted to try t capture some of the magic of seeing the heavy slice of moon and lone star appear out of the misty layers of cloud – preventing the first plate of rich inky darkness from sucking the second, subtly lighter blue into it, was only one problem to solve. The overlaying of the last, pale green/blue plate suddenly lifted the bottom third of the print – lending an amorphous quality to the moving cloud and revealing a swirling area of energetic marks beneath.
