At the last minute, I asked Tom to re-mix the colour for the floating final layer of pink in order to give volume to the fast-changing clouds and really push them out towards the viewer – a dangerous move at that point, but this song is so huge that the print had to step up to the challenge and take some risks – likewise with the intensity of the passage of bright blue, illuminating the dark mass of sky in the central section of the image.
